FAQ

General
  • Is the kitchen in my apartment kosher?
It depends on the apartment but most of them are maintained at various levels of kashrut. Some of our owners require prospective tenants to furnish us with a letter from their Rav confirming they are shomer Shabbat and shomer kashrut. If this is the case for the unit you have selected we will be in touch with you about this requirement.
  • Your listing says "booking request only" but I got a confirmation of my reservation. What exactly is my status?
A confirmation issued after a booking request is only confirmation that your request was received. We will be in touch directly to help finalize the details of your visit.
  • How do I pay?
Please note that we charge the full amount upon booking.
  • Your prices are in shekels but my credit card charges me in dollars. How can I lock in today's exchange rate?
Unfortunately this is beyond our control.
  • My flight arrives around 7:00 a.m.; where can I leave my bags until regular check-in time? My flight leaves at 1:00 a.m. so I don't have to leave for the airport until after dinner. Can I stay in the apartment?
A request for early check-in or late check-out should be made at the time you make your booking. We do our best to accommodate such requests when possible. If you wish to guarantee an early arrival or late departure we strongly recommend booking the extra night (before or after, as applicable).
  • My reservation has been confirmed. Now what? How do I get into the apartment? What if something goes wrong during my stay?
About a week before your arrival we will provide access information for you with a link to our digital apartment guide. Instructions for contacting us in case of a maintenance issue or other emergency during your stay is also included. Please note that our regular office hours are Sunday to Thursday, between 8 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Israel time.
  • When is check out on Shabbat?
Check out on Saturday is an hour after Shabbat comes out.
